On Arrival

 On Arrival, you will be shown where to pitch. If you have a favourite spot, then you will obviously be given that position if its available. If not, you will have a choice of the remaining pitches on a first come, first served basis.

We have to say that there is much more space available than the number of pitches that we are intending to offer. Choice of pitches really will not be a problem given that the camping ground is 20 acres with numerous different areas in which to pitch. Indeed, we are only offereing around six pitches per night, which means that each pitch could have as much as 3 acres between them!

A party of six tents could therefore take over the whole site and the entire camp would then be yours for the night (min two nights). There is a supplement for this seclusion, but it can be well worth the extra cost if you want your own exclusive week-end for friends and family. Costs do differ depending on season and a full 100% deposit is required. We have given an indication of cost on our price page, but please telephone or email to discuss your requirements and we can finalise things then.

Having said that, you will need to hurry for this year, although, as a seasonal site, we have availability at the moment (September 09). ....but it is going fast!

As far as timings are concerned, it obviously helps if you arrive in good time before nightfall. However, if that is not possible, or you are unavoidably delayed, we would appreciate a call and we would then be happy to keep your place for you.

On Departure, we try to be pretty relaxed about the time that our visitors leave, although obviously, if new visitors arrive after lunch and you are still there, we would have to chivvy you up a bit.
